Kenya’s self-declared women representative and Big Brother Africa 8 representative Huddah Monroe has officially declared interest in politics.
The high-flying socialite on Thursday, September 12, projected her desire to contest for Nairobi Woman Representative seat.
Announcing her 2022 candidature, Huddah, via Instagram shared a flyer and urged her followers to suggest a ‘political heavyweight’ who can support her bid.
If true, as the excitement from her over 1.7 million followers seemingly suggest, the vocal socialite – touted as one of the richest in Kenya- could join fellow celebrity CMB Prezzo who is also eying Kibra parliamentary seat come 2022.
Despite the confusion that marred CMB Prezzo’s declaration at Wiper Democratic Movement headquarters in Karen, the rapper reiterated to Pulse that he is engaging the electorate due to his calling to serve.
“I am doing this through pure passion to serve. I have always wanted to see everyone live a decent life in which all the basic necessities are served without favour and prejudice. I believe the people of Kibra deserve the best life, the best there can be just like anyone else does. That is why I have given myself to serve Kibra,” Prezzo Said
“Keep mind that yesterday is a canceled cheque. Today is ready cash. Tomorrow is a promissory note. 2022 everything shall come to light. I take this opportunity to wish all the vying contestants in Kibra good luck & may the best representative win,” added the rapper.
