Popular digital content creator Azziad Nasenya is reportedly being taken to court over unpaid debtsamounting to KSh 600,000.
TikTokers Hannah Bentah and Mary Musyoka went live on the platform, accusing Azziad of allegedly “conning” them out of KSh 300,000 each. The two claim to have voice notes and messages as evidence of Azziad requesting the funds.
According to Hannah Bentah, Azziad urgently requested money, saying she was stuck in a hotel abroad and needed to check out. Out of goodwill, Hannah says she even borrowed from friends to raise the funds.
Meanwhile, Mary Musyoka, a businesswoman, claims Azziad used the same narrative on her, promising to refund the money within two days.
However, months have passed, and both women say Azziad has not repaid them. They further claim she has been ignoring their calls and messages demanding repayment.
Frustrated by the lack of response, the complainants have now opted for legal action and are in the process of filing cases at the Small Claims Court to compel Azziad to reimburse their money.
Azziad is yet to respond publicly to the allegations.
