Naiboi speaks up on struggles to release new songs

After a few months of music hiatus, singer Naiboi has threatened to sue his record label citing struggles to release new songs.

Naiboi took to social media and in a subtle Instagram post on Wednesday, he asked fans to pray for him saying his hands have been tied for almost two years which have deterred him from giving his fans more music.

“All I ever wanted is to release music for my fans. And I know my fans are worried wondering what’s up with A Naiboi!! My Hands have been tied for almost 2years now. And I am tired of being at mercy of these people,” he stated.

“I might need serious lawyers. I might, I think. Nimefika mwisho. I Miss NaiBoi as much as you do. Pray for me. I keep everything to myself a lot, but imefika mwisho. I love music so much it hurts to have over 800 songs and I can’t release even a single one.” he added.

Naiboi gained popularity in Kenya music scene following his collabo with Timmy T Dat in their song ‘Welle Welle‘ in 2014 and thereafter ‘Daktari‘ in 2015 featuring Frasha.

He has since released countless hit songs featuring big artists and on the eve of 2019, he performed during Wasafi Festival in Nairobi.
