Kenya’s 100m prized runner, Ferdinand Omanyala, is sprinting through 2024 not just on the track but also in life. At just 29, Omanyala has unlocked major milestones, blending speed, style, and smart moves that have elevated him to a whole new level.
From multiple sponsorships to lucrative endorsements, Omanyala is living the dream life many aspire to. Think about it: cruising in four luxury cars worth Sh 43 million, building a jaw-dropping seven-bedroom mansion in Ruiru, and launching his own business ventures.
According to an article published by the Nation, Omanyala’s financial transformation is powered by partnerships with global giants like Adidas, Visa, and Tusker, among others.
In fact, his deal with Adidas, initially set to end in 2025, now runs until 2028, covering the Los Angeles Olympics. With such backing, he’s raking in millions and leveling up his lifestyle.
But it’s not just about sponsorships. In 2024, he scored big on the track, earning up to KSh 3.5 million in appearance fees at races like the Absa Kip Keino Classic. Across 27 races, including two Diamond League events and the Paris Olympics, he pocketed significant prize money, adding to his growing empire.
Cars, Mansions, and a Whole Lot of Style
Omanyala’s love for cars is evident in his collection. His lineup includes a sleek Mercedes E-Class, a Toyota Harrier (his “dream car”), and two high-end vehicles from CFAO Motors: a Toyota Hilux Double Cabin and the stunning Toyota Prado Adventure Plus J250.
Add to that a mansion in the works, reportedly costing over KSh 50 million, and Omanyala is literally building his dream life. “I now have no landlord knocking on my door,” he joked, reflecting on the transformation.
Building a Legacy
He’s also dabbling in fashion with his clothing line, “Track Ferdi,” which is set to drop new sportswear soon. And as if that’s not enough, he launched Ferbil Interfreight Limited, a clearing and forwarding company that’s already gaining traction.
Eyes on the Future
With all this success, Omanyala isn’t slowing down. His focus now is on the 2024 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, where he’s ready to make his mark on the global stage.
