Popular singer Omwami Dadi Owen has been left in tears while nursing heartbreak after his girlfriend dumped him for a tycoon and a super rich man from Nakuru.
It is reported that Fridah Wambui left for a business trip to the Nakuru county, only to end up lying to him. The so called business trip changed to be an eloping event where Fridah Wambui spent quality time with her rich mpango wa Kando.
Just recently, the Nairobian reported that the romantic fairy tale marriage between gospel singer Daddy Owen and his wife of four years Farida Wambui Kamau was on the rocks.
According to a close family member, the veteran musician and his long time wife were living separately, with the cause of their separation yet to be revealed. The Nairobian further speculated that the two lovebirds might be suffering from irreconcilable differences. Attempts to reach the couple for the comments were also unsuccessful.
This news of the singer being dumped like a hot potato comes few months after Dadi Owen celebrated his wife and the mother of their two sons during their fourth wedding anniversary.
However, we cannot confirm with certainty whether the musician was actually dumped or whether he is just taking Kenyans around. Most Kenyan celebrities have developed a new habit of creating illusionary breakups with their couples to get attention only to end up releasing new hits.
