Donald Kipkorir and Philip Murgor Set to Lock Horns in Court

Prominent Lawyer Donald Kipkorir instructs his legal team to initiate libel, civil and criminal proceedings against Senior Counsel Philip Murgor and businessman Peter Njonjo, accusing them of making false, perjured and criminal allegations in a sworn affidavit filed in Nairobi Children’s Case No. 1779 of 2024, which he says contains fabricated claims meant to tarnish his name and settle personal vendettas.

Kipkorir states that Murgor, acting as Njonjo’s lawyer, prepared an affidavit filled with lies and deliberate misrepresentations.

He insists that the allegations are not only defamatory but also amount to criminal conduct.

He has directed his lawyers to file complaints with the Communication Authority, the Data Protection Commissioner, and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.

He alleges that Murgor and Njonjo unlawfully accessed his call logs and tracked his movements without his consent.

Murgor

Kipkorir has dismissed claims that he was at Panari Hotel, saying he was in South Africa at the time referenced in the affidavit.

He maintains that the accusations lack any factual basis.

He wants Murgor struck off the Roll of Advocates and Njonjo barred from holding any directorship or employment in any company.

In a public statement, Kipkorir described Murgor’s actions as a “dangerous obsession” and demanded an injunction to stop him from what he calls stalking.

His legal team is preparing to move to court.
