Fresh Scandal Hits Troubled UNESCO Agency In Nairobi

A new scandal has surfaced at Kenya National Commission for United Nations Education Scientific and cultural (KNATCOM) office.

It is a department under the ministry of Education with its Headquarters at National Bank Building, Harambee Avenue.

A dossier in our possession reveals a senior official influenced the advertisement for the vacant position of manager, Finance and accounts.

Another post advertised was corporation secretary and director of legal services.

The dossier exposes massive looting, skewed tender awards, air ticketing, suspicious allowances payments running into millions of shillings, succession wars, witch hunt, kickbacks and doctoring of books of account through creative accounting.

At the centre of the storm is CEO Calastine Mwangi.
