Lawyer To Sue Bolt Driver Over Assault On A Nairobi Lady

City lawyer Harrison Musyoka has offered to give free legal representation to a lady who was attacked by a Bolt driver. 

In an interview with K24 Digital, Musyoka said he is ready to give free legal representation to the lady to help her get the justice she deserves.

“If she needs free legal services she can pass by my office anytime. I will help her with free legal representation. This year I’m giving back to the community,” Musyoka said.

Bolt taxi company is on the spot after a female passenger’s hand was hacked in a scuffle with one of its drivers.

The incident is reported to have happened on Sunday, August 29 around 9:00 pm near Diamond Plaza, Nairobi.

According to the complainant identified as Suzzy Cerra on her Instagram account claimed tumult started when the taxi driver, identified as Samuel, demanded to charge them almost three times the value charged by the company. 

Suzzy who claims she was in the company of her brother says the driver insisted on the amount but opted for cancellation, immediately the driver become violent leading to the driver assaulting her and her brother.

The lawyer has previously offered legal aid to a hawker who lost his teeth over Ksh100 bribe demanded by Nairobi County askaris.

Musyoka wrote a demand letter to Nairobi County to accept liability for assaulting the socks hawker by allegedly beating him up and in the process lost his teeth over a bribe.

The lawyer gave the county government a 7-day-ultimatum, forcing the County askaris to approach the complainant Anthony Maina and offered to settle the matter out of court.

An agreement for settling the matter and paying the hawker over Ksh400, 000 was drafted and signed by the parties at the lawyer’s office.

Musyoka first came to the limelight when he was captured in a steamy video with an unidentified woman at a birthday party.
