Airtel Kenya Ltd Accused Of Exploitation By Franchise Partners Unite

Airtel has demanded an exhaustive list of complaints from franchise partners (FPs) following troubling allegations regarding the company’s operational practices.

In response to the company’s attempts to sidestep accountability, the FPs banded together and presented a unified front against the telecom giant’s exploitation tactics.

They meticulously outlined their grievances and demanded a collective audience with Airtel’s top brass by the 19th of April 2024.

However, the response was nothing short of disappointing.

Rather than engaging with the FPs as requested, Airtel has opted for a divide-and-conquer strategy.

By selectively inviting individual FPs to Parkside, Airtel hopes to quash dissent and intimidate those who dare to challenge its authority.

But the FPs are not backing down.

Refusing to be cowed by Airtel’s strong-arm tactics, they’ve reaffirmed their demand for a collective meeting with Airtel’s top management on Thursday, 25th April 2024.

Airtel’s heavy-handed approach has only served to exacerbate tensions, with the FPs now considering further action.

They’re prepared to take their grievances to the streets, organizing demonstrations and boycotting Airtel merchandise until their demands are met.
