Cameroon President’s Daughter Posts Photo With Girlfriend, Homosexuality Is Severely Punished In The Country

The daughter of the president of Cameroon, where LGBT people are persecuted, has come out and published photos with her girlfriend

The president’s daughter has publicly announced her relationship with her girlfriend, despite the fact that homosexuality is punishable by up to 5 years in prison in Cameroon.

However, Brenda Biya does not live in Cameroon, but in Switzerland, while apparently maintaining a close relationship with her father, who has been in power for 42 years.

It is not yet known how Paul Biya himself reacted to his daughter’s coming out – he has not made any public statements about it.

In Cameroon itself, the local media are trying to avoid this topic and have hardly reported on the president’s daughter’s confession.
